This is a combination drug containing tizanidine (a muscle relaxant) and aceclofenac (a painkiller that also reduces swelling). It works by relaxing tight, stiff muscles while reducing pain and inflammation at the same time.
Activates alpha-2 adrenergic receptors in the spinal cord and brainstem, enhancing inhibitory neurotransmission to reduce muscle tone and spasticity. Inhibits COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes, reducing prostaglandin synthesis to decrease pain and inflammation in musculoskeletal conditions.

The usual dose for adults is one tablet taken twice daily, or as your doctor prescribes. Take it with food or after eating to reduce stomach upset. Swallow the tablet whole with water — do not crush or chew it. This drug can make you feel sleepy, so avoid driving or operating machines after taking it.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. But if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule. Do not take two tablets at once to make up for the missed dose.
Only use this drug as prescribed by your doctor — do not buy it from roadside sellers or use someone else's prescription. Because it causes drowsiness, avoid taking it before driving, especially on Lagos or city roads. Do not use it for longer than your doctor recommends, as long-term use can damage your stomach, liver, or kidneys.

Do not combine with other painkillers like ibuprofen or diclofenac as this can damage your stomach and kidneys. If you are taking blood pressure drugs, let your doctor know because tizanidine can cause your blood pressure to drop too low.
