Oxytetracycline is an antibiotic that works by stopping bacteria from growing and multiplying in your body, helping your immune system fight off infections more easily.
Binds to the bacterial 30S ribosomal subunit, inhibiting protein synthesis and producing a bacteriostatic effect against a broad spectrum of Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms. Take one 250 mg capsule four times a day (every 6 hours). Swallow with a full glass of water on an empty stomach — at least 1 hour before food or 2 hours after eating.
