How do you take Oxaliplatin?

This is NOT a drug you take at home by yourself. It is given as a drip (infusion) into your vein at a hospital or cancer treatment centre by trained medical staff. The typical adult dose is 85 mg per square metre of your body surface area, given once every two weeks over 2 to 6 hours. Your oncologist (cancer doctor) will determine your exact dose and schedule based on your condition and body size.
