This is an antacid medicine that combines magnesium trisilicate and dried aluminum hydroxide — two ingredients that work together to neutralize excess stomach acid and coat the stomach lining to protect it from irritation.
Neutralizes gastric acid by binding hydrogen ions through base-acid reaction, while magnesium trisilicate forms a protective gel layer on the gastric mucosa; dried aluminum hydroxide additionally absorbs pepsin and bile salts, reducing mucosal irritation and promoting healing of acid-damaged tissue.

Chew or swallow 1 to 2 tablets between meals and at bedtime, or whenever you feel heartburn or stomach discomfort. You can take it up to 3-4 times a day. It works best when taken between meals or about 1 hour after eating. Some forms come as liquid — shake the bottle well and take 1-2 teaspoons as needed.
Since this medicine is usually taken only when you feel symptoms like heartburn or stomach pain, there is no strict dosing schedule to miss. Simply take it when you need it, but do not take more than the recommended daily amount.
Do not use this antacid as a long-term solution — if your stomach problem continues for more than 2 weeks, see a doctor as it could be something more serious. Buy from a registered pharmacy and look for the NAFDAC number on the pack. Do not take it together with your other medications — always leave a gap of at least 2 hours.
Do not take this medicine at the same time as tetracycline, ciprofloxacin, or other antibiotics — antacids can stop them from working properly. Wait at least 2 hours between taking this antacid and any other medicine. It can also reduce the effectiveness of iron supplements, so space them apart.
