How do you take Levofloxacin?

The usual adult dose is one 500mg tablet once a day, swallowed whole with a full glass of water. You can take it with or without food, but try to take it at the same time each day. Do not take it together with milk, yoghurt, or antacids — wait at least 2 hours between them. Your doctor will tell you how many days to use it, usually 5 to 14 days depending on your infection. Always complete the full course even if you feel better.
