How do you take Ferrous fumarate?

Adults usually take one 200mg tablet two or three times daily. It is best taken on an empty stomach (1 hour before food or 2 hours after food) for better absorption. If it upsets your stomach, you can take it with a light meal. Swallow with a full glass of water — not with tea, coffee, or milk as these reduce absorption.
