Emtricitabine/Tenofovir Alafenamide (sold as Descovy in Nigeria) is a combination of two antiviral medicines that work together to stop HIV from multiplying in your body, helping to keep your immune system strong.
What is it used for?
HIV infection (used together with other HIV medicines)prevention of HIV infection in people at high risk (PrEP) — but note that for PrEPit is only approved for people at risk through sexnot through injecting drugs
