Dienogest is a type of hormone (progestogen) that works by reducing the growth of the tissue that normally lines the womb (endometrium), especially when this tissue grows in places it shouldn't. It is sold in Nigeria as Visanne 2 mg Tablet.
What is it used for?
Endometriosis (a condition where tissue from the womb grows outside itcausing serious period painheavy bleedingand difficulty getting pregnant)
