This is a combination drug that contains diclofenac sodium (a strong painkiller and anti-inflammatory medicine) and misoprostol (a medicine that protects your stomach lining from the harsh effects of the painkiller). It works by reducing pain and swelling while preventing stomach ulcers that painkillers can cause.
Inhibits COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes, reducing prostaglandin synthesis and thereby decreasing pain and inflammation; misoprostol activates prostaglandin E1 receptors in the gastric mucosa, promoting protective mucus secretion and reducing acid production to prevent NSAID-induced ulceration.

The usual dose for adults is one tablet taken 2 to 3 times daily, depending on your doctor's prescription. Take it with food or immediately after eating to reduce stomach upset. Swallow the tablet whole — do not crush, chew, or break it. Follow your doctor's instructions strictly on how many tablets and how often.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember — but if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule. Never take two tablets at once to make up for a missed dose.

Do not share this medication with anyone, especially women of childbearing age, because of the serious pregnancy risks.
