This is a combination gel containing two active ingredients — clindamycin (an antibiotic that kills bacteria on the skin) and adapalene (a vitamin A-based ingredient that unclogs pores and reduces swelling). Together, they fight acne from multiple angles.
Inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit, while adapalene activates retinoic acid receptors (RAR-γ and RAR-β) to normalize keratinocyte differentiation, reduce sebum production, and decrease comedone formation.

Apply a thin layer of the gel to the affected area once daily, usually at night before bed. Wash your face first with a mild cleanser and let it dry completely before applying. Use only a pea-sized amount for the whole face — do not use more thinking it will work faster.
If you forget to apply it at night, skip that dose and apply it the next night as usual. Do not apply extra the next time to make up for the missed dose.

Always complete the full course even if you feel better. Stopping early can cause the infection to return and become drug-resistant.

Avoid using other acne products containing benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, or strong exfoliants at the same time unless your doctor says so, as it can cause severe irritation. Do not use medicated soaps or harsh skin products alongside this gel. If you are taking erythromycin (another antibiotic), let your doctor know as it may reduce clindamycin's effectiveness.
