How do you take α-β Arteether?

This injection is given into the muscle (usually the thigh or buttock) by a healthcare professional — do not try to inject yourself at home. The usual adult dose is 150 mg given once daily by deep intramuscular injection for 3 days. Your doctor may adjust the dose depending on the severity of your malaria. Once you can swallow, your doctor will usually switch you to oral antimalarial tablets to complete treatment.
